When the goon Munna falls in love with a radio host, in order to meet her, he sets things up (gets a Gandhi professor and others to be present) so that when she has a Gandhi quiz, he is able to answer her questions. Impressed and believing that he is, as he claimed a professor, the woman asks him to give a lecture to the old folks she lives with. Munna knows nothing about Gandhi so he spends three nights reading on Gandhi in the library, missing food and sleep. By the end of the third day, he sees what appears to be Gandhi's ghost. Gandhi promises to help and when the Sunday of the Gandhi lessons arrives, the first test comes with a question - what to do if a boy stones a statue of Gandhi, breaking an arm. Gandhi, who is invisible to everyone else, tells Munna to say the boy should topple the statue and other statues of Gandhi, tear down all pictures of Gandhi, and remove Gandhi's name everywhere. Of course the audience is shocked, until the explanation. . . .
