Profile Information

Year Graduated in LCC (w/ Course if College)
High School - 1973
A little about yourself as an LCCian in LCC (include year graduated if a graduate)
I'm a true blue LCCian and spent 11 years in its halls and grounds, from kindergarten to high school graduation in 1973. I loved to write, sing, dance, choreograph. I was always dubbed loquacious by my teachers and that trait may have actually served me well in the storytelling and oratorical arena. I loved biology and physics, math and algebra; loathed chemistry. Geometry started a bit rocky for me but I eventually grew to appreciate the logic behind it.

LCC was instrumental in the foundation upon which my life is now built. I laughed a lot, had boatloads of fun with numerous friends, cried some as I learned youth's lessons in life, gained substantial knowledge.
A little about yourself after LCC
We moved to Manila right after high school graduation in 1973. I went on to pursue a degree in Communication Arts and majored in Broadcasting at FEU where I met and married my college sweetheart, Edmund Ucol. After a couple of years as a radio broadcaster at the Bureau of Broadcasts in Manila, I shifted careers to conquer the skies and went on to be a flight attendant for Saudia Airlines for the next 10 years. I lived in Jeddah and Bangkok for the first 5 years of my flying stint, and moved right back to the city from where I came after the airline opened up a base in Manila. I was blessed to have had the opportunity to travel to many different lands and learn about different people and cultures. After the travel bug went away and I decided to grow back my land legs, I worked a couple of years as a Product Manager for Clinique cosmetics before our family migrated to the US.
A little about yourself now
I have 3 daughters, 3 grandkids and live in Elk Grove, south of Sacramento, the capital city of California. I still travel quite a bit mostly for work around the US that can get quite exhausting, and at times for pleasure when the opportunity presents itself. I absolutely love being in the midst of the information revolution and learning from the universe of knowledge at my fingertips via the internet. Other hobbies include collecting antiques, discovering historical places in the outlying areas around Northern California and border counties in Nevada, shopping, working out and just generally having a good time with friends and family.

Hi Amla,
I just wanted to say hello again. It feels like such a long time since the last time I heard from you. So kamusta ka na? I suppose, work must have kept you busy these days. Finally, I had the chance to see Au-au before she left for Manila. She invited me to a dinner party last week, it was more of a get-together party with only a few friends, classmates and relatives present. Baw ti siyempre kasadya guid sa amon. Au-au seemed unchanged, she was still in her jolly self. Ramon was present too. The party started out with a hug and beso-beso to old classmates, then what followed was a long evening of eating, of laughter, of chats and of reminiscing. Everybody had a great time, that seem as if the party will never come to an end.
Until then. Best regards to you and to your lovely family. God bless.joji
