Dear LCCians in the USA,

Kamusta? It's been a while since our first U.S. get-together. I know we all had to catch our breath after that but now that it's July, I hope we can begin moving again.

Dr. Boy Abay just posted a message to follow up on the organization and formation of the LCCBAAA (LCC Bacolod Alumni Assn of America) or whatever name you want to call it. Doc Boy is right when he said that more than ever, we need the organization. (See his message in http://lccians.ning.com/forum/topics/usa-celebration-of-lcc/showLastReply)

We began with big dreams of making our LCC better for our students and for the community as a whole. It's a good thing that Doc Boy wrote to reiterate his request for an LCC Wishlist and he ended this with a pledge of $2,000 if an LCC Bacolod Wish Foundation can be organized. Now that the LCC Alumni Association is meeting regularly to plan for the Alumni Homecoming on September 6, it should be easier to organize this Wish Foundation. I have to get to work here too, of course. I just hope we can all gather our forces together again so that our LCCian community in the World Wide Web can be a real force for good.

Sincerely,
Andrea

To All,
It will be nice to have Pilipino recipes posted in our site. I love to cook but the only 3 Pilipino food that I can cook are pancit, adobo and lumpia shanghai. My family loves the pancit and the lumpia shanghai. My son who lives in Scottsdale emailed me recently asking for the lumpia recipe. It will be interesting to see who the cooks among us are.

Wila and Nenette - ti, naga-crave na ako subong sang dinuguan nga may tanglad kag puto! San-o ayhan ta liwat ma tinipon? I still have a hangover sa aton nga reunion. I feel I didn't do enough to socialize and get to know people. Got too hung up on tracking the program to make sure it was moving on time, distributing and collecting forms, trying to burn calories on the dance floor. Anyway, it will be HS class 73's turn next time nga mag-sosyal!!!
